About Tash Rabat

Hidden in a remote valley at 3,200 meters altitude, Tash Rabat is one of the best-preserved Silk Road caravanserais in Central Asia. This mysterious 15th-century stone structure served as a haven for traders and travelers crossing the treacherous mountain passes.

The surrounding valley is stunning, with rolling hills, grazing yaks, and nomadic yurt camps. The isolation and dramatic scenery make it feel like stepping back in time. Nearby, you can trek to the border with China and enjoy some of the most pristine wilderness in Kyrgyzstan.
